Neon Harbor

Main title sequence for a streaming drama — a rain-slicked port city that wakes up as the credits roll.

Neon Harbor title frame — night street with wet reflections

Title Sequence · 2025 · 75 seconds

Overview

The show needed titles that felt like the city itself was a character: cranes, container stacks, wet asphalt and a thousand lit windows. Voxelmoth Studio built the entire port as a reusable CG environment, then flew one continuous camera move through it for the full 75-second sequence.

Every shop sign, puddle reflection and passing ferry was placed to land on a cast beat — the city quite literally introduces the cast.

The challenge

Television schedules don't move. The sequence had to be designed, built and finished in five weeks, on episodic-TV money, while matching the show's night-exterior photography so the cut from titles to episode felt invisible.

The approach

A modular kit of docks, warehouses, cranes and rooftops was modelled once and redressed across eleven shots. Procedural rain, fog cards and a shared neon LUT kept every angle in the same photographic family, and a previs animatic locked the camera path in week one — so weeks two to five were pure craft, not exploration.

Deliverables & outcome

The package shipped with the 75-second master, a 30-second broadcast cutdown, episodic recap bumpers and a stills kit for the show's key art — plus the full environment, archived and reusable for season two.

Design note: Keep the city readable through a clear camera path, layered silhouettes and controlled reflections.
